My granddaughter’s love of Chai encouraged me to create this healthy, herbal drink. Now, we are all hooked! Thank you Megan!:)
This blend is caffeine free, but should you wish to add a bit of green tea to the mix, go for it!
Directions: Bring water to a boil in stainless steel, glass, or ceramic vessel (not aluminum). Turn off heat. Place 1 teaspoon loose tea per 8 oz. (cup) water into hot water vessel or into enclosed reusable organic cotton tea bag, pulling strings tight. Steep for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove tea bag & squeeze well, or strain loose tea if you did not use the tea bag. Pour and enjoy! Add honey or cream if desired. Try it with whipped cream or eggnog!
