The organic herbs in Winter Defense Herbal Tea are a welcome treat during cold, winter months.
Peppermint leaves (Mentha x piperita), Echinacea rt. (Echinacea purpurea), Licorice rt. (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), Slippery Elm bark (Ulmus rubra), Nettle leaf (Urtica dioica), Thyme leaves (Thymus vulgaris), Yarrow flowers (Achillea millefolium), Ginger rt. (Zingiber officinale), Eleuthro rt. (Eleutherococcus senticosus).
Now, don’t you just want to sip on that?!

Bring water to a boil in stainless steel, glass, or ceramic vessel (no aluminum!). Remove from heat and place 1 teaspoon herbal tea per 8oz cup of water into vessel or into enclosed reusable tea bag, or your favorite infuser. Steep 10 – 15 minutes. Strain loose herbs, or remove and squeeze tea bag, before pouring prepared tea into cup. Add cream or honey if desired.
Compost used herbs. Wash and dry cotton tea bag before reusing.
Tip: Remember to eat lots of green, leafy vegetables, drink lots of fluids, and get plenty of rest during the winter season, or when you are under the weather!
