The organic herbs in Winter Defense Herbal Tea are a welcome treat during cold, winter months.
Peppermint leaves (Mentha x piperita), Echinacea rt. (Echinacea purpurea), Licorice rt. (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), Slippery Elm bark (Ulmus rubra), Nettle leaf (Urtica dioica), Thyme leaves (Thymus vulgaris), Yarrow flowers (Achillea millefolium), Ginger rt. (Zingiber officinale), Eleuthro rt. (Eleutherococcus senticosus).

Directions for 1 cup of tea:
Bring 8 oz water to a boil in non-aluminum vessel. Turn off heat. Place one teaspoon loose tea into boiled water, or into enclosed reusable tea bag, pulling strings tight. Let steep for 10 – 15 minutes. Strain loose tea, or squeeze & remove tea bag, before pouring. Compost used herbs from bag. Wash and dry bag for re-use.
Tip: Remember to eat lots of green, leafy vegetables, drink lots of fluids, and get plenty of rest during the winter season, or when you are under the weather!
