A perfect herbal drink when company comes, to welcome a calm social atmosphere. Add a little cream and/or honey to mix it up!
Bring water to a boil in stainless steel, glass, or ceramic vessel (not aluminum). Turn off heat. Place one teaspoon loose tea per cup of water into hot water vessel, or into enclosed reusable tea bag, pulling strings tight. Steep for 10 minutes. Strain loose tea, or squeeze & remove tea bag & pour. Add honey or cream if desired.
