I have used my own oils and ointments with my massage clients throughout the years. Inspired by the amazing results and encouragement from massage clients and a local chiropractor, I decided to make Muscle Rub available on the website.
Given the recent admissions of the health risks involved in taking anti-inflammatory (NSAIDS) prescriptions and over-the-counter-drugs, it is a good idea to try to limit their use… or eliminate them altogether if possible.
When combating inflammation, it is a good practice to drink appropriate herbal teas, include turmeric in your diet, and eat a healthy diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, foods high in Omega-3 and stay away from processed foods, or foods with high sugar, caffeine, or sodium content, as they can actually contribute to inflammation. Topical herbal ointments can be useful when addressing the discomfort associated with sore muscles.
Directions: This pleasant smelling ointment is concentrated. A little goes a long way… It’s not how much you use, it’s how often. Herbal topical ointments need consistent use for best results. Rub in a small amount onto desired area as needed, several times daily. For external use only. Keep away from eyes. Wash hands after applying. Keep jar safely away from little ones.
