What these specific Essential Oils have been used for and why we included them in our Balance & Motivation Blend
Sweet Orange: uses include supporting emotional balance & mental concentration.
Neroli: uses include assisting with irritability & anxiety.
Geranium: uses include helping with stress reduction.
Frankincense: uses include supporting mental, emotional health, mental function, when experiencing anxiety and depression.
Peppermint: uses include supporting motivation and stimulation to the body, encouraging deep breathing, concentration and mental clarity.
Patchouli: uses include helping with feelings of stress or anxiety. Also used to compliment exercises that encourage body mindfulness, such as tai chi or yoga asanas.
When using Balance & Motivation in a Diffuser: Add 5-10 drops of essential oil directly into the diffuser water, depending on amount of water you’re using in the diffuser. Follow manufacturer’s directions. Remember, some people are allergic to citrus and other essential oils. Be mindful of diffusing in a room with others.
When using Balance & Motivation on the body: If you opt to rub on feet, shoulders, chest and/or neck, it needs to be diluted in a carrier oil first (olive, coconut, sunflower, sesame, grapeseed oil, all work fine). Use no more than 3-5 drops of Essential Oil in 1 Tablespoon of carrier oil. Massage in well. We suggest diluting Balance & Motivation in a carrier oil as well, when adding to a hot bath. You can start with 6 drops in 1 Tablespoons carrier oil, and add to a full tub of hot water. Mix it in well before getting into bathtub.
*A general rule with using Pure Essential Oils on the body: Whenever in doubt, always add less essential oil and increase amount a bit as needed.
